Received an email from a student who was devastated by her score. I felt the same pain, the student had felt. Pain in my heart. It's good to feel that pain, cry, scream so that when we get back on path, we can look the failure in it's eyes and say" See, I am stronger than you".
Believe me, being a tutor I get to know so many similar circumstances where students fail, but what happens next separates them apart. We all fail, some way or another ( I failed my driving test), we get sad and hurt, but what we do after that defines us.
My advice is very simple.
First- don't compare yourself with anyone else. What you have, they will not have. So it is possible that what you are seeking to become (like them), it can not happen.
Second- Eyes on your goals, not on the hurdles. Failures, family troubles, financial issues are all part of life and whatever you do, you cannot avoid them, so accept them but keep your eyes on your goal.
Third- Work hard, work hard, workhard. But smartly.
Good Luck in your endeavours!!!
